Default Continuous Shuffling Machines in blackjack

You state that where CSM's are being used, a player actually has a small advantage over the casino as opposed to where one is not being used. You state this is because more tens and aces are normally dealt from a CSM. Why would the deck composition be necessarily higher in ten and aces where a CSM is used? If my rationale is corect with a CSM the cards do not get that random
as a relatively small nubeer of cards are bascially recycled.

Thanks

Default Re: Re CSM's

I believe that you are referring to an article by Henry Tamburin where he states that CSM's actually offer a lower mathematical advantage than a similar game dealt from a shoe.

I believe you get more tens and aces becasue the used cards are not put into a discard tray. Instead they are put back into the cards still to be played.

Michael Shackelford, also known as the 'Wizard of Odds,' did the math on CSM's and you can read about it on his site www.wizardofodds.com
