In 2007 Guide article (page 105) by Harry Tamburin ends with 'And that assumes the player knows the changes to the basic playing strategy, which many do not.'. Where can I find this information on the changes to the basic strategy since most casinos I have been to recently have the dealer hitting on soft 17?

There are plenty of places to find the correct strategy. One of many is the bj21.com website.

When the first page comes up, look to the left hand column for 'basic strategy' and click on it. You'll then see a strategy table, but if you scroll down the next table enables you to input any set of casino rules and get the correct strategy.
