S'H Green Stamps is a Bally slot machine with a banking feature. The game has 5 tiers of potential green stamp accumulation and it takes 1200 green stamps to fill a tier.

The green stamps appear on a regular basis during the course of normal play and they are immediately added to the total of the current tier you are playing on, until you reach 1200 points.

When you reach 1,200 on a particular tier, the game offers a choice of either 1) Take free spins or 2) Keep saving.

If you like money, the best bet is to take the free spins, which are awarded at max lines covered with max coin bet. On a green stamps machine, the maximum number of lines is 25 and the maximum number of credits that can be bet per line is 10. Therefore, on a penny machine, which is the typical denomination, you are being awarded spins that are worth $2.50 each.

The enticement to opt for the 'keep saving& choice is that the player is offered more free spins and some extra free credits as well, upon completing the next highest tier.

I believe the breakdown is as follows: 1st tier completed: 5 free spins and 100 free credits. 2nd tier completed: 10 free spins and 250 free credits. 3 tier completed: 15 free spins and 500 free credits. 4th tier completed: 20 free spins and 750 free credits. 5th tier completed: 25 free spins and 1,000 free credits. I may be off a bit on the free credit amounts, but it's close.

Since the game plays like dog-crap during normal play, a player will generally lose money chasing the next tier bonus......it's best to cash out with the free spins whenever you can.

The green stamps game is a positive expectation play when you find them with around a minimum of 600 stamps already filled on the 1st tier.

Sometimes you can get lucky and find the entire 1st tier filled and the 2nd tier partially filled.....when that happens it's like finding money on the floor.....it's almost a sure bet that you will win.

It's important to only bet between 5-10 credits per spin though......if you start firing away at max-coin bet you may dig yourself a hole that the free-spin award cannot bail you out of, although the more you bet the faster the green stamps accumulate.

A typical green stamp that appears on the screen when you're betting 5 credits will be worth 5 points, that same green stamp when betting 250 credits would be worth 250 points toward the 1200 point total to finish a tier.

Again, it's still best to grind out the stamps with small bets because that will allow you to survive the inevitable green stamp droughts and be down only a couple of dollars when you reach the free-spin award.

Good luck.

You can play max coin in the regular game but in the bonus you only get 25 lines 1 credit per line.

The bonus free spins on a penny Green Stamps machine are awarded as follows: 25 lines covered at 10 credits per line, therefore, after completing the 1st tier, a player gets 5 free spins worth 2.50 each.

5 free spins at .25 a spin whether playing max coin or 1 coin.

Thats why the game is not good to play unless you have over 6 group of stamps in the 1st book

Twyman, the Green Stamps wouldn't be worth playing at all if that was the case. You'll see soon enough that the free spins are awarded at 25 lines with 10 credits per line on the penny machines.

It is true. Watch somebody play max coin and see what happins when they get the 25 free spins. 25 lines at one coin per line.

I have seen it everytime whether they are playing max coin or 1 coin the bonus spins are 25 lines at one coin per line on the bonus spins.

Sure sounds like a rip-off, yet so many like the game ?? Max coin only nets 1 coin on the bonus ?
