Re: Green Stamp Machines Actually, since the green stamps machines are banking machines, they do become a positive play when roughly 500 or more stamps have been accumulated. In other words, one can expect to make money on the game from roughly that 500 point until the end of the free spins.
The free spins are awarded when 1200 stamps have been accumulated on the 1st tier and they are awarded at 10 times per line with 25 lines covered, giving each of the 5 spins a value of 2.50, on a penny machine.
In my experience I've noticed that the average return per spin is somewhere between 1.50 - 2.00, making the average total return for a 5 spin bonus fall somewhere between 7.50 and 10.00 dollars, on a penny machine.
The key to making money on these games is to only sit down to play them when there are 500 or more stamps already accumulated, and to grind out the remaiming 700 or so stamps needed by betting only 5-10 credits per spin. If one comes out firing at 125 credits per spin, that person will usually, and quickly, dig themselves a hole that the bonus free spins cannot bail him out of.
Greenstamp machines generally play like dog crap during normal play because of the relatively top heavy free spin bonus award.
My guess is that the game returns a measly 55-60% of your money back during normal play and then quickly gives back another 25% during the free spin award, making the total return for the game fall somewhere between 80 and 85 percent, which stinks btw.
Good luck and happy hunting. |
