Default All American Video Poker

We recently suggested that a casino in the Palm Springs, CA area bring in All American Poker. We got a call from the assistant casino manager who was originally from Atlantic City.

He informed us he would not consider bringing in All American Poker because he claimed he had experienced some sort of 'scam' involving the game but he would not elaborate.

Has anyone heard about this? We just don't believe today's technology will allow it.

I can think of four possibilities with that 'scam'.

One would be if the AA games were full-pay 1.00 denomination types, and the pros were blocking out the customers by working in teams around the clock. A game like that would be about a 25.00/hour proposition.

Another would be that the casino manager's AC casino got stung by an AA machine that was overpaying, when the coins were cashed out. AA Poker is/was a game found on Bally Gamemaker slot machines, which are notorious overpayers, especially the flat-top quarter machines.

Number 3 would be that maybe there was a flaw with one or more of the AA machines that allowed some cheaters to exploit it using a device or some sort of trickery.

The 4th possibility is that he was just making an excuse to not put a customer friendly VP game out on the floor, because he didn't want to admit that his Palm Springs casino is just another typical bloodsucking gambling establishment that's motivated almost entirely by greed !

ALL AMERICAN POKER has vanished from Trump Plaza, Atlantic City. There were 16 of these in $.25 cent denomination and all were full pay.

I played these exclusively when I went there, however, they have been replaced with a new version called USA Poker which no longer has and 8-8-8 payout for Full House, Flush and Straight.

They have been replaced by a payout of 7-7-7 respectively. The full payout machines were fantastic. The full pay machines did not come in any other denomination.

I'm not sure if this is true but the new payout brought the payoff percentage down from 100.7 full pay to 96. with the new version. My advice is to STAY AWAY.

Are there any full pay AA poker machines left anywhere in the country ? The only full pay dueces wild games that I can remember anywhere were downstairs at the River Palms this summer. There were 3 upright, old IGT coin-out machines.

There will never be another decade as good as the 90's, regarding VP gambling.
