 Luck - Good and Bad
Have been playing a lot of on line poker recently. Normally play in the very low limit sit 'n go's. Usually I keep my head above water and gain about 1 buy-in a day. If the buy-in is .50, I usually wind up the day with a .50 increase in my bankroll. At a buck, I gain a $1. And, so on.
I began keeping track of my daily activity and in my records on last Friday I show 53 tournaments with 15 wins and 20 seconds. I was out of the money only 18 times in those records.
Pretty much an indicator of "good" luck.
Since last Friday I have been out of the money 17 consecutive times.
Pretty much an indicator of "bad" luck.
Good thing I enjoy the game.
