  • What are you favorite ACG coupons?

My favorite coupons are the 3 for Ellis Island.

    What are your favorites?

    1. The 3 Ellis Island ones for sure; especially the BBQ!

    2. 50% off ($25 maximum) at The Flame Steakhouse at El Cortez.

    3. All the free slot play and match plays which don't require you to be a new sign-up and which don't require any additional play first .... El Cortez, Gold Coast, Golden Gate, Orleans, Palms, Vegas Club, etc.

I like the annual free play, but I was able to use a 2 for 1 to see Mike Hammer at the 4 queens and another 2 for 1 the Eiffel tower

Double slot points (up to 500) at Four Queens is the absolute tops since it is worth in cashback $12.50 when redeemed after earning the full 500 points.
2 FREE Comedy Club show tickets at the Riviera Hotel and Casino is second favorite as having great value even for just one person.

            • $10 FREE slot play for all club members at El Cortez
            • 50% off ($25 maximum) at The Flame Steakhouse at El Cortez
            • 2-for-1 room at El Cortez (Sun-Wed)
            • Play $10 get $10 FREE Slot play at Ellis Island- a bit awkward to redeem, but next trip I'm going to combine my qualifying play with qualifying play for the free bingo ($20 for nonlocals) and do it the right way and at the beginning of a trip.
            • 2-for-1 menu item at Ellis Island (50% off solo)
            • 2-for-1 buffet at Terrible's (if it is still worth 50% off for solo)
            • 2-for-1 lunch or dinner entree in Magnolia's at Four Queens (if that can work for 50%)
            • Earn 200 points get a free buffet at Gold Coast (JOB treat but just once a year)
            • $5 table game matchplay at Gold Coast
            • $5 table game matchplay at Tuscany
            • $60 in poker chips for $50 at Golden Nugget Las Vegas
            • 2 FREE tickets to Mac King with drink purchase
            • $5 even money matchplay at Las Vegas Club
            • $5 FREE slot play at Las Vegas Club
            • $5 blackjack matchplay at Longhorn
            • $10 matchplay at Lucky Club whenever I can get out there
            • $10 matchplay at Orleans
            • 2-for-1 show tickets at Orleans
            • 2-for-1 tickets to Big Al's Comedy Club at Orleans
            • $10 even-money table game matchplay at the Palms
            • 25% off Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood
            • $10 even money matchplay at the Plaza
            • $5 free slot play at the Plaza
            • $10 even money table game match play at Riviera
            • Earn 200 points get a free buffet at Sam's Town
            • 2-for-1 Breakfast or Lunch Buffet at SunCoast (50% off when dining alone)
            • 2-for-1 Entree at Bougainvillea cafe in Terrible's(again as long as they take it 50% off)

Not yet my favorites, but of interest for next trip:

            • 2-for-1 admission to the Erotic Heritage Museum - If I can get someone to go along with me.
            • Buy 2 nights Get 1 Free at Sam's Town -
            • Buy 1 hotel night get second night 50% off at Terrible's - finally not limited to certain months
            • $45 Off sunset dinner ride at Wild West Horseback Adventures
            • Get a free buffet after earning set number of points at the Palms

            ************************************************** ************************

More places should expand 50% off deals. Isn't it logical that a solo traveler might be more apt to stay to gamble? I think so. Why more places don't want to get me in the door by myself with my money in my pocket is a puzzle to me. This is especially true for shows. One seat is generally easy to find even in popular shows, so a solo show goer often fills in those odd single show seats that are not going to be purchased. And, again, am I more apt to gamble if I am alone than if I am with a friend? I had a rest.com coupon for The Flame, and of four people who said they "might" come, none came. To use the coupon I needed to buy 2 entres. So, that one time I did, but there is an offer I would never buy again from rest.com.
I'd take a chance on going to a show on the possibility of having a companion when I would not make the trip if when I got there and my companion did not, I would not get a show discount just for me. So those places lose my making the effort to walk in the door. On the other hand, I can offer my free ticket to the first friend to meet me at the Riviera and be certain that the trip won't be wasted if no one shows. That happened last trip. My nephew was going to come, but had a plumbing emergency. I still got to see the show solo.

My wife and I always use the completely free admission for 2 to the Riviera Comedy Club. No strings attached, no drink minimum. What a deal for a reliably entertaining night out.

Also like the spa pass for the Flamingo (I'd love to see more of these at other hotels please!) and the Silverton buffet coupon.

Thanks Steve. Keep up the great work.

Sorry for the long delay in posting a reply, but my wife and I went to London for one week to celebrate New Year's Eve.

While I was there we visited two casinos and I am going to write an article about it for an upcoming newsletter.

Thanks for your support of the book. We will keep trying to get some new and different offers.

                    Nice Steve. Welcome back.
When you do the Riviera comedy, Lefty, there are some old pinball machines in one of the lobbies. They may be on loan from the pinball hall of fame.
