Default Horseshoe Casino Hotel: Good blackjack and craps, bad video poker

Go here if you like to play blackjack and craps, but avoid it if you are a video poker player.

Horseshoe has one of the best single-deck blackjack games in Tunica. They allow doubling down on any two cards and resplitting of any pair (including aces) which results in a casino advantage of just .15%

Theyoffer 100X odds on craps, the highest in Tunica, all other casinos only offer 20X odds. They also pay triple (rather than double) on 12 in the field, which cuts the house edge on this bet in half from 5.6 percent to 2.8 percent.

The vide poker, however, is all terrible. Very low paytables.

Default Re: Horseshoe Casino Hotel: Good blackjack and craps, bad video poker

WOW sounds great on the craps odds 100x and 20 x in other tunica casinos....heres a true story how i killed the edgewater casino in laughlin crap table..in oct.2001 i arrived in laughlin and checked into the edgewater casino/hotel ..my first evening i went to the crap table and saw they offered 100x odds i bought into the game for a $1,000 and played from 11.00pm till the sun came up around 5.30am..first night winnings $12,000.....the second night i returned and played all night again winning $8,500....there was not a third night...on night 3 i went to the table and the 100x odds placard had been removed,a handwritten cardboard placard was in place with the new odds posted of 5x and 10x only at the $25.00 level and up....i have a unique strategy to take advantage of high odds crap tables,i even had the help scratching there eads and questioning if what i was doing was legal,of course it was they just hadnt seen anyone ever play this way.....
