Drinking Age at Seminole casinos in Florida

Can anyone tell me why or where to find why the Seminole Indians can't change the drinking age in thier casions?

Well what is it and what would you like it to be? Does it coincide with the gambling age?

Basically all Indian casinos have to come to an agreement with the states they are located. The Feds started to put pressure on the states to raise their drinking ages to 21 again or for the first time.

The Feds did this by threatening to withhold the state's highway construction monies. It worked. So a state is not going to let any casino serve booze to anyone under 21 as part of any agreement.

That is how I read it.

You are right. Reagan signed the bill in 1984 and forced the states to knuckle under to the 21 aqe
rule. Nixon did the same thing with the 55-MPH speed limit in 1974.

The US has the highest drinking age of any nation.
