I think 319.00 is much to much to pay for a room on a friday night. We can fly to Reno and back for less.

I would say that the price for a room is relative to the property you are staying at and the kind of room you are getting.

Another factor is supply and demand. If you are staying at the time of a major convention, or a holiday, prices are usually more expensive.

Usually, the cheapest time to get a room is on a Tuesday right after a holiday weekend. In Las Vegas, one of the best times to get the lowest rates is January 2, after all of the New Year's Eve celebrants have left town.
