    Someone recently wrote to me with the following question - Recently, I saw a video that said generally penny slots have the lowest odds; $5 have the highest. On a multi-denominational slot, do the odds change or do they remain the same for all selections?


    Here is my answer -On a multi-denominational slot, each denomination has its own payback percentage..
    The same thing is also done with multi-denominational video poker machines. Usually, but not always, you will get a better pay table if you play a higher denomination. However, unlike slot machines where you don't know what they are set to return, with video poker you can see the pay table and calculate the expected return.
