  • When a new slot machine arrives to the casino floor....

Steve, I have 1 questions regarding new slot machines in any casino in general.

When a new slot machine arrives to the casino floor....¿do you know or do you think that because is a new one.... they setup a better % winnings for the player....like make it "loose" to attract new customers to that machine....and after some time then...change the % to setup the machine like a "regular" one ?

    Thanks

I don't believe that is done. I believe the casinos set it to a certain percentage and basically keep it at that set amount.

The casinos have a business philosophy and they know how much they want to make on each denomination of machine and all are set at basically the same percentage based on that denomination. The percentages will differ slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer, but they are all about the same for each denomination.
