The popular French patisserie and bistro is set to welcome in 2012 with two special offerings on New Year’s Eve. For $65, guests can enjoy a classy five-course tasting menu featuring choices such as a Maine lobster salad, roasted pistachio rack of lamb and filet mignon. Guests are also encouraged to start the New Year’s celebrations early with the $30 wine pairing addition; each of the five courses comes with recommended wine pairings, including a 2007 Château de Sancerre and a sauvignon blanc or merlot from Napa Valley. There will also be $10,000 worth of giveaways throughout the evening. Guests who purchase the beverage package will get a numbered wristband and a raffle ticket. The number from the wristband will be entered in the grand prize raffle draw. The raffle ticket will be put into the giveaways raffle draw. The grand prize is $3,000 for first prize, $1,500 for second prize and $500 for third prize, and will be announced at 11:30 p.m. at Carnaval Court. The other giveaways will happen every 20 minutes at Piano Bar (9:30 to 10:30 p.m.), Carnaval Court (11 p.m. to 12 a.m.) and Toby Keith’s (12:30 to 1:30 a.m.). Griffin got his start in comedy in 1990 and has performed on multiple HBO specials such as “One Night Stand” in 1992 and “Voodoo Child” in 1997. Griffin has also performed on the legendary stage at the Apollo Theater. He was launched to fame when he performed the song at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Tyga recently released the album “Careless World” featuring the help of Game, Snoop Dogg and Drake.
Tyga will be joined by R&B artist Bobby V. Bobby V joined with Organized Noize Productions team at the young age of 16 to make his passion for music a career. After one of his demos landed in the hands of Ludacris, Bobby V became the first R&B artist to be a part of the Disturbing Tha Peace family. After topping multiple charts with the hit single “Slow Down” in 2005, he released “Special Occasion,” which turned out to be another success.
