LAS VEGAS (Dec. 28, 2011) – Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas resorts have added a few more entertainment and dining options for visitors and locals looking for something special on New Year’s Eve. Please note that these events are in addition to the previous announcement earlier in the month.
Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro
Caesars Palace
The popular French patisserie and bistro is set to welcome in 2012 with two special offerings on New Year’s Eve. For $65, guests can enjoy a classy five-course tasting menu featuring choices such as a Maine lobster salad, roasted pistachio rack of lamb and filet mignon. Guests are also encouraged to start the New Year’s celebrations early with the $30 wine pairing addition; each of the five courses comes with recommended wine pairings, including a 2007 Château de Sancerre and a sauvignon blanc or merlot from Napa Valley. Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill invites guests to enjoy a performance on New Year’s Eve by Bucky Covington, one of country music’s brightest stars. The “American Idol” finalist shot to fame in 2007 with three hit singles in his debut album, including “A Different World” at number six on Billboard Magazine’s “Hot Country Songs.” Covington will be performing live at 10 p.m. and cover is $25 including tax. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, Carnaval Court and Piano Bar are part of a special New Year’s Eve beverage package that includes unlimited entry to all three venues and draft beer, imported beer, domestic beer and well drinks for party-goers from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. for only $125 including tax and fees. There will also be $10,000 worth of giveaways throughout the evening. Guests who purchase the beverage package will get a numbered wristband and a raffle ticket. The number from the wristband will be entered in the grand prize raffle draw. The raffle ticket will be put into the giveaways raffle draw. The grand prize is $3,000 for first prize, $1,500 for second prize and $500 for third prize, and will be announced at 11:30 p.m. at Carnaval Court. The other giveaways will happen every 20 minutes at Piano Bar (9:30 to 10:30 p.m.), Carnaval Court (11 p.m. to 12 a.m.) and Toby Keith’s (12:30 to 1:30 a.m.). All winners must be present to redeem their prize. Guests who choose to just visit one of these venues will be entered into the giveaways raffle draw as part of the entrance fee. For $95, guests can enjoy a great meal starting with the foie gras duck rillete amuse bouche. The appetizers include a phenomenal selection of Kobe steak and king crab roulade, chilled jumbo prawns or beef carpaccio. After the soup and salad come the real fireworks, where guests choose from an array of entrées such as Colorado lamb, New York strip or a half roasted chicken. The sixth and final course is a mini three-course meal in itself with a tropical macaroon, a chocolate and lemon candy bar and a chocolate and raspberry parfait. Get ready to ring in the New Year with comedian/actor Eddie Griffin as he brings the funny to The King’s Room at Crown Theater & Nightclub. Griffin got his start in comedy in 1990 and has performed on multiple HBO specials such as “One Night Stand” in 1992 and “Voodoo Child” in 1997. Griffin has also performed on the legendary stage at the Apollo Theater. Guests can enjoy an open bar from 9 to 10 p.m. and then party the night away after Griffin’s performance with the house DJ spinning the best in hip-hop and R&B. Tickets are $30 plus taxes.
Also at Crown Theater & Nightclub, guests can ring in the New Year with performances by internationally-known recording artists, Tyga and Bobby V, a Compton native who got his start with help from his cousin Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. After signing with Bad Squad Label, Tyga appeared on a remix of Fall Out Boy’s single “Arm’s Race” alongside Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and other well-known artists. He was launched to fame when he performed the song at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Tyga recently released the album “Careless World” featuring the help of Game, Snoop Dogg and Drake.
Tyga will be joined by R&B artist Bobby V. Bobby V joined with Organized Noize Productions team at the young age of 16 to make his passion for music a career. After one of his demos landed in the hands of Ludacris, Bobby V became the first R&B artist to be a part of the Disturbing Tha Peace family. After topping multiple charts with the hit single “Slow Down” in 2005, he released “Special Occasion,” which turned out to be another success. The recent single “Fly On The Wall” debuted on the Top Ten of the Billboard 200. Catch both performers inside Crown Nightclub for only $125 to welcome in 2012.
