ELY, NEVADA – June 25, 2014 – The historic Hotel Nevada, located in the heart of downtown Ely, will be celebrating its 85th anniversary on Thursday, July 3. In honor of this milestone the once tallest building in Nevada is offering guests the opportunity to satisfy their sweet tooth with complimentary cake from 6-7:30 p.m. on July 3.

Hotel Nevada’s 24-hour restaurant’s skilled kitchen staff will be preparing classic favorites and house specials as well as specialty desserts in honor of this anniversary. All customers will receive 10% off food, drinks and hotel rooms on July 3. Giveaways will also take place throughout this event. The 85th anniversary celebration will be open to both locals and guests.
Since opening in 1929, Hotel Nevada has attracted many well-known celebrities over the years including Wayne Newton, Mickey Rooney and Lyndon Johnson to name a few.
