  • Why did Flash games disappear?

Guys, who remembers the good old Flash games? In the early 2000s, I used to hang out on sites like Newgrounds and Armor Games. These games were simple, but incredibly addictive. All you need is a browser and a little time. But then Flash disappeared. I heard that it was due to security issues, but I think there is something more to it. Why hasn't HTML5 replaced all the fun that Flash games had? And is it possible to bring them back somehow?

I was a fan of Flash games too! I still remember those times with warmth. The problem is that Flash is really outdated. The main reason is huge security holes. Hackers used them to attack computers. For example, in 2015, there was an incident with the Angler Exploit Kit - many users were harmed. In addition, more secure and flexible technologies have appeared, such as HTML5. But Flash games have not completely disappeared. Many old games have been ported to new platforms. If you want to dive into history or even try to find old games, I recommend reading this article https://www.unfinishedman.com/what-h...o-flash-games/ . It explains very well why Flash was so important and what happened to it.

Flash games were something unique. I remember how my friends and I played for hours on an old computer. But technology does not stand still. HTML5 now allows you to create games with amazing graphics that work on any device.
