  • The Gambling Adventure Story That Happened To Me

My best gambling adventure story happened on a trip to Las Vegas.

Actually, I was taking a break from gambling at the time it happened. I was with my gambling buddy (same guy as in my previous post) on that trip and we were walking around the small shopping area at the end of the old Stardust Hotel and Casino. There were only a few stores there, plus a kid's arcade.

He went into the candy store and I sat on a bench. I was looking around and I saw someone across the way that looked just like Michael Jackson heading towards the game room. Gee, a Michael Jackson impersonator I said to myself. He must be trying to drum up business for one of his shows.

He went into the arcade and walked up to a couple of kids that were playing the games. He then stood there right next to them while they were playing and he never said a word. He just sort of stared at them and then the game they were playing.

The kids seemed a little uncomfortable and glanced back at him with a look of wonderment as if to say "what is this guy doing?"

This scenario only lasted for a few minutes and then he left the arcade. Once he got out of the arcade he was surrounded by four bodyguards: one in the front, one in the back and one on each side. They all then headed to a side exit and left.

At this point I wasn't sure what I witnessed, but it was weird. I figured it had to be the real Michael Jackson because if it was a MJ impersonator, he wasn't going to get much business by acting that way.

About 18 months later all of the stuff came out in the press about him and his problems with kids and at that point I was really sure it was him I saw that night.
