LAS VEGAS (June 29, 2017) - Palms Casino Resort is giving beginners luck a new meaning with the unveiling of an all-new dining concept, Lucky Penny Café. Set to open July 1, 2017, the cafe will serve up a playful menu featuring an array of modern American cuisine with a twist of worldly flavors for breakfast, lunch and dinner - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The completion of the café marks the first major enhancement to the property under Station Casinos' ownership. The 143 seat café will feature swanky, mid-century modern elements in dark neutral wood tones with touches of blue and gold, highlighted by oversized light fixtures, soft furniture, and spirited artwork. Surrounding the dining area are vintage-inspired whitewashed organic ashlar stone walls with bronze screen panels accentuating the space. Marble tables and countertops add to the sophisticated feel, while classic style patterned chairs provide comfort and flair. A large wrap-around counter with individual charging stations at each seat will be the perfect place for business and breakfast. Located off the casino floor, Lucky Penny Café will bring great fortune to its patrons who will revel in this throwback café experience and its inventive fusion of menu items. Whether guests are looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a late night snack, Lucky Penny Café will meet that need with its robust menu, available any time of the day and served around-the-clock. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of traditional breakfast dishes, from fluffy buttermilk Nutella pancakes to a savory ratatouille frittata. The breakfast menu extends to unique non-traditional dishes like the breakfast pizza, the eggsadilla, or the macho machaca hash to name a few. Comfort style dishes include chicken fried steak and eggs, liver and onions, and more. Continuing with the excitement, guests can indulge in a variety of salads, lucky sandwiches and small plates perfect for a lunchtime recharge. Highlights include zin-braised meatballs, a mezze board with hummus and baba ganoush and a selection of Neapolitan style pizzas, soups and its "Vegas Hall of Faves" which includes pastas, dinner entrees like chicken and biscuits, hearth oven brick chicken and other hearty home-style dishes. For dessert, guests can indulge in a selection of hand-made shakes served boozy or virgin. Lucky Penny will also offer a healthier menu for guests on the go, featuring a collection of nutritious items including fresh pressed juices, super salads, veggie burgers and more. A wok station will also be available with a variety of Asian-American inspired cuisine with a selection of tasty noodle dishes, charred Brussels sprouts and other Chinese entrees. A pastry window will offer fresh croissants and sweets to-go alongside specialty coffees and lattes by J. Gursey coffee, a coffee artisan to Hollywood's elite. Lucky Penny will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For more information, visit www.palms.com. |
