Las Vegas, NV: Filled with ***-centric artifacts and many other amazing exhibits from The Exodus Trust Archives, artists, inventors and Sexuality Experts, Dr. Ted McIlvenna opened the doors to the 17,000 square foot “Erotic Heritage Museum” (EHM) on August 3rd, 2008.
By 2010 the non-profit museum that celebrates sexuality through the arts was awarded “2010 Best Museum” by The Las Vegas Review Journal. Museum Members, sexy fun local talent and out of town guests have made the Erotic Heritage Museum both a World Class and a Do Not Miss Destination!
Dr. Ted Mcllvenna selected each Clinical Sexologist and Sexology Intern from the San Francisco, CA based Institute for Advanced Study in Human Sexuality (IASHS) to welcome visitors and answer questions about the Museum’s vast content. Dorian Gomez leads the Las Vegas based group as the Art Director and Resident Curator. Dr. Amanda Morgan, the youngest Sexologist in America, is the EHM’s Events Director and Sexuality Educator. Dr. Victoria R. Austin is the Associate Director of Academics and Continuing Education. Mercedes Zavala heads Public Relations and is the Liaison for Alternative Lifestyles. Jane Hamilton, known as Veronica Hart in the golden age of Adult Movies, rounds out the trailblazing powerhouse team affectionately known as “EHM Posse” as the Director of New Media and Associate Curator or Erotic Folkart.
Dr. Ted smiled and proudly said, “I call this magnificent group ‘The Titans of Tomorrow’ because they have stood in the face of adversity and never gave up.” He continued with, “Together they made this space called The Erotic Heritage Museum an even more compelling, educational and *** positive atmosphere with the promise of educating and celebrating our human right to our own sexuality.” He added, “I am very proud of the team at the Erotic Heritage Museum.”
