Ellis Island Casino will be hosting a Hatch Chile Roast along with 3 Food Trucks, Lulu's on the Move, Sloppi Jo's and SnOwOno Shave Ice. Each truck will feature a special menu using the roasted Hatch Chiles and a green chile beer from Ellis Island.
New Mexico State University and Bueno Foods will be roasting the chiles on site and maybe available for sale to the public. Yelp.com is running a contest for some lucky yelpers that have a chance to win an exclusive VIP seating with free drinks. There will also be a watermelon eating contest with a prize of $100. From 6pm to 10pm on August 20th.
