  • Mob Attraction Las Vegas To Open Soon at Tropicana

The American Casino Guide coupon for the Mob Experience will be accepted at the Mob Attraction when it reopens.

Las Vegas (Feb 06, 2012) – JVLV New Holdings today announced it is officially the new owner of the Las Vegas Mob Experience. Under the new ownership, the attraction will fully reopen under the name Mob Attraction Las Vegas.

While the date of opening has yet to be set, JVLV has extensive plans for the future of Mob Attraction Las Vegas.

“Now that we have brought the attraction out of bankruptcy we are going to be swift with changes as we prepare to open our doors once again,” said Andrew DeMaio, president of JVLV New Holdings. “Along with the name change, upgrades are being made to the audio visual equipment, special effects will be enhanced, and we’ve added industry veteran Tom Zaller to help guide us.”

According to JVLV Holdings, the addition of Tom Zaller is expected to raise the performance of the attraction. An entertainment/exhibition operations and marketing veteran with more than two decades of experience, Zaller has been instrumental in creating, producing and marketing some of the world’s most popular museum-quality exhibitions and attractions, which have been seen by nearly 40 million people around the world. He has overseen all aspects of blockbuster exhibitions including Las Vegas attractions Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition and BODIES…The Exhibition.

“The Mob Attraction is the perfect mix between entertainment and museum, using authentic artifacts, new technology and storytelling we bring to life this incredible and timeless story,” said Zaller. “We’re in the process of fine tuning the experience and look forward to the opening in March with the exciting announcements coming soon regarding changes.”

Additional details regarding reopening and enhancements will be announced shortly. The museum inside the attraction remains open daily 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Visitors can view the attraction’s world-class collection of mob artifacts and memorabilia. On display are personal items, photos and videos belonging to Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel, Meyer Lansky, Sam Giancana, Tony Spilotro, Charles “Lucky” Luciano, Mickey Cohen and many others.

“We would like to offer a big thank you to Mr.Yemenidjian and Tropicana Las Vegas,” added DeMaio. “Without their support and commitment to our plan moving forward none of this would’ve been possible.”

“We have always been confident in the vision of this unique attraction,” said Fred Harmon, vice president of talent and image relations at Tropicana Las Vegas. “Under its new ownership, the Mob Attraction is sure to provide an interactive experience unlike any other that exists in Las Vegas.”
