TUNICA, Miss., January 9, 2014 – Horseshoe Casino & Hotel Tunica today cut the ceremonial grand-opening ribbon on the largest poker room in Mississippi. The Horseshoe Tunica Poker Room was recently expanded and renovated making it the largest poker room in Mississippi containing 25 tables, a World Series of Poker Lounge, and updated décor and amenities.
“The Horseshoe has been known for a legendary poker experience for years and today we are very pleased to be able to increase that experience with the largest poker room in Mississippi offering all the comforts of home including: a World Series of Poker Lounge, massages at the table for players, comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and electric and USB outlets at each poker table seat just to name a few,” said Darold Londo, regional general manager, Caesars Entertainment Mid-South. “We were good. Now we are confident we have the best poker room and the best amenities to go with the best dealers at the best casino!”
The upscale and player friendly atmosphere inside the Horseshoe Poker Room is coupled with a number of amenities that enhances the player experience including the new World Series of Poker Lounge where players will be able to wait for their poker seat in a comfortable and convenient area, tableside food service, complimentary beverage service, self-service coffee station featuring Starbucks coffee, new player chairs, massages at the poker table, a dedicated poker cashier, cash game sign-up podium, tournament registration area, 16 large screen televisions, free Wi-Fi, electric and USB outlets at each of the player spots, BRAVO software broadcast which will allow updates via text or e-mail for players waiting on open seats, and a feature table to host high interest games and tournament final tables.
To celebrate the grand opening the Horseshoe Poker Room is giving away a 2014 Chevy V6 Camaro on March 29. Poker players may earn one entry into the Camaro giveaway for every five hours of play in the Horseshoe Poker Room.
Horseshoe Poker Room offers various No-limit poker tournaments daily.
