Re: low payout per% at Fortune bay casino Mn.
I agree that the payouts at Fortune Bay casino are very low. I can remember when going to Fortune Bay was fun now you can't even have fun anymore. I don't expect to win big jackpots and I know they need to make money but now it seems that the little guy doesn't mean anything to the casino.
I have been a wild edge member for a long time and I am far from rich but I could at least go to the Bay and get play back and be able to sit on a machine for awhile but now I can't even do that any more.
It's too bad that it has to be this way. Yes I still go there once in awhile but not as often as I did before. The middle class people just can't afford it unless they don't pay their bills or something. The Bay is only for the rich now. Too bad.

Minnesota Casinos
Curious. Do those who frequent the Minnesota casinos find it typical that the payouts are poor at all of them? I am from Wisconsin and play mostly in WI and the UP of Michigan. The few times I did go to the MN casinos I found it difficult to win on anything, including video poker. They also do not give much casino cash to bus customers, whereas the WI & MI casinos are often quite generous when it comes to giving bus money and meal coupons.
However I will be riding the bus to Prairies Edge and Jackpot Junction from July 6-8. I did that trip 2 years ago and was quite disappointed in the payouts so this will be my final time at those 2 places if things don't improve a little.

Re: Minnesota Casinos
I have never been to the two casinos you mentioned. However, I did find that Black Bear Casino (Carlton -- near Duluth) and Palace Casino (Cass Lake -- near Bemidji) did have good slots and reasonable payouts. I was able to play for many hours and came out a little ahead.
I still don't think you will find many places anywhere that beat Ho-Chunk near Wisconsin Dells in terms of payouts and free play comps. They definitely offer a lot to the small time player that is just looking for reasonable and truly fun experience.
