  • Isle of Capri - Lake Charles: Mother's Day disaster

Made reservations two weeks in advance for mothers day at Farradays restaurant. They gave me a 5:00 pm dinner reservation. I again called on Thurs. May 7th to confirm and they told me it was confirmed. I arrived at 4:30pm on Mothers day with my wife and son only to be told the hours for mothers day was 11:00 am to 4:00 p.m. ii went to the customer service/players booth and asked to speak to a casino mgr. A young lady told me she was the casino supv. and when I explained the situation she stated "Maybe they didnt know the restaurant was going to have different hours". What kind of communication and poor business is that, your only prime restaurant and people taking the reservations dont know the hours or change of hours. I have been to many casinos in my life and this is the most poorly managed one I have ever step foot in. This experience convinced me never to do business there again, nor any of my family members. I will also let others I know when they ask about the poor service, management, and careless attitude of their employees.

Continuing business this way in the future is certainly a good way to end up with a poor rating, loss of customers and revenue. From what I experienced today along with the nonchalant attitude of your Supv. it shouldn't be long before your revenues suffer.

I do not blame you. If something like that ever happened to me I would never go back unless this was the only casino anywhere near my house and I was needing a VP fix. I certainly would never give them any of my food $$$$. You deserve some kind of comp for your trouble. Maybe Steve will give them a heads-up on what happened.
