Anything Harrah's touches turns stale and Bally's is no exception. It's not so much that anything is "wrong" but much is just plain mediocre. There's little pop or sizzle in this steak - merely mundane. It's a safe bet but no jackpot. I prefer a place with a little charm, a little touch of old Vegas character, something infinitely more interesting. It is in a good location with decent rooms and amenities with a respectful staff and reasonable rates, but it just lacks the charisma and style that still remains available both on the Strip and Downtown.
