  • Choctaw Casino - Durant: Noise Level

I went to Durant in early December, 2009. It was my first trip to an Oklahoma casino. As soon as I entered the front door, I found the noise level to be oppressive. I could not believe it. I tried to play video poker for a while, but I was under a air conditioner vent and could not stay more than 15 minutes. I could not find a craps table, so I tried some blackjack. The dealer was a very pleasant young lady and I had a good time. However, if one plays less than $25 a hand, the 50 cent tax per hand will eat up any winnings. I had planned to stay overnight, but gave up and started home after about an hour.
