This revue concerns Cal-Neva in RENO, located on Virginia Ave. As the last reviewer stated...where to start?!The building is very old and the casino is a multi-level operation. At the time they were offering $40 for $20 play so we took the chance. Odds seemed to be in line with other casinos, so nothing to say further. Good selection of machines. Interesting (worn) old restaurant. Enjoyed the food. Reasonably priced.Dislikes: Speaking of the restaurant, the seats and tables were worn and showed years of faded paint. Mirrors in at least one rest room had stress marks (loss of silvering) arouind the edges and desperately needed to be replaced. I mean, what would that cost? The layout of the multi-level casino is bizarre. Still, the casino has a proud past, opening just before the Kennedy assasination in 1962. If this establishment is teetering on the edge of finallity, it's only because of lack of upkeep.
