We bought a 4 day/ 3 night bus trip to Biloxi from Southwest Florida. For the remarkable price of $219 we got a round trip bus ride (680 miles one way), 3 hotel nights at the Isle Casino, 3 buffet breakfasts, and $70 in casino freeplay. We got picked up in Venice, Fl and most of the others were alredy on board. Two more pickups in Sarasota and Bradenton and we were on our way to Biloxi. The bus stopped every two hours for potty breaks and stretching. The first two hours were quiet time but our very nice tour gide passed out OJ and sweet rolls, most everybody slept or read the newspaper. After our first break our guide put on a movie. That got us to the next break. Then we all kicked in a couple of dollars and played a horse racing game in which you had to pick the quinella. The winning horses were decided with dice. After the race we ate lunch. The tour advised everyone to bring lunch because the bus won't be stopping on the way up. Another break and then 5 games of Bingo. Before you know it we were in Biloxi. It was just after 5 pm (CST). The luggage was taken to our rooms and the bellhops were tipped by the tour operator. We all got new Players Cards and $40 freeplay as we entered the Isle. My wife is off to the slots (I gave her my freeplay) and I am on my way to the Black Jack Tables. I love BJ at the Isle. The game is 4 decks, double any two, resplit Aces, and dealer stands on soft 17. Also you are allowed to play two hands at table minimum if you like. By the time 8 o'clock rolled around hunger was setting in, my bankroll was positive and the nice Pit Boss provided comp buffets for two. As we were headed to eat the fire alarm went off. Everyone was evacuated from the hotel and casino. Shortly the "all clear" sounded and we went to eat. Then we decided to pack it in for the night. It was a long day. More on day 2.
