    Great place to go. Great buffet ( it's small), 4 decks of gaming, not much on the top floor except the free Coke machine & the hosts' office. Rooms are fine & reasonable in cost if you're not getting a free room.
    20 miles in either direction, you can hit BELTERRA or HOLLYWOOD.
    If you drive over to Belterra those 22 miles--be careful, the road has dips where the pavement buckled & it's tricky. You'll run into 4 spots like that, but not in the initial miles. You definitely don't wanta leave the road in the lane next to the river & plummet into it.
    VP machines, while not full pay, do payoff (when I'm playing they do).

        The day after publication I got an email telling me that the Grand Victoria was now becoming the Rising Star. Snail mail activity looks like the comps will remain about the same as before.

          There were rumblings the GRAND VIC was up for sale last year.
          Looks like the deal went through. Hope the new owners leave
          the same old machines.
