Birthday trip 8/14 - 8/18 at Luxor and gambled mostly downtown and Orleans. Wife wanted to stay at Luxor and we did get a good discount. Tried a lot of the "Best Vegas Values" on page 251 of the 2011 ACG except Fitzgeralds that no longer offers the 500 points within 14 days of birthday.
However I did get a Royal Flush at 8/5 JoB 25 cents at Luxor on my birthday (8/15) after playing about 45 minutes and did win a few hundred at Craps there too.
Many good food deals $7.99 steak at Ellis Island, $9.99 at Terribles and paid for one with their 2 for 1 coupon at the cafe. All ACG coupons offered were honored. The coupon for a shot glass at Fitzgeralds is now a keychain.
