  • Diamond Jo Casino Dubuque: Denied Access to an Entire Post Wedding Party

We stayed at the Grand Harbor Resort across from the Casino for my cousin’s wedding. After the wedding reception we went over to Diamond Jo and they denied access to the entire party because one lady in our group stumbled. When my 60 year old uncle questioned their decision a huge security guard yelled at him, threatened him with physical violence and escorted him off the property. What kind of a casino denies access to a party of paying customers sober or drunk? It just doesn’t make good business sense. I have been to my fair share of casinos in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan but I have never seen anyone denied access for something so petty. Their loss, we were all ready to spend a lot of money.
