When I can't go to Vegas, I have to stick with my favorite local casino, Greektown. This is a great casino to hangout, kill some time before a Detroit Tigers or Lions game and then ride the public transportation (we call it the "People Mover") over to Comerica Park or Ford Field. Greektown features a decent buffet, a nice selection of VP, and table games where the minimums usually start at $10. I have not stayed at the hotel yet, but have heard great things about it.
