Spent a week in CT, stayed @ Hampton Inn, in Groton, was a great trip. Food is expensive, both at the hotel and the surrounding area, but for the money the buffetin the casino is worth the price. Gambling was for me super. I was dealt four aces with a kicker on a dollar poker machine,and hit a royal on a quarter machine. Slots were not as kind. Played a few hundred, and stayed even for about two hours, butthe high roller area machines, for me, were ice cold, and my few hundred was gone.The casino is beautiful, compared to the warehouse feel at the Fox.Staff very friendly, and I was given a comp for the buffet.All in all I'll be back in March.
