  • Harrahs Las Vegas: Hoppin' at Harrahs

I've been to Harrah's a few times since there is one local to me and I can get discounted rooms in Vegas. I've never been disappointed with Harrah's but at the same time never overly thrilled. The resturaunts all have decent food, although if you're looking to really fill up Toby Keith's offers very healthy portions. Casino action isn't bad but nothing really sets it appart from any of the other strip casinos. The two things I really do like about Harrah's though is the location, right in the middle of the strip. If you like to walk you are about equal distance from the north and south end of the strip. Also, Carnival Court is great if you like live music. I enjoy setting there just catching a local cover band and even playing a few hands of BJ on their outdoor tables if I get in the mood.
