  • Longstreet Hotel Casino RV Resort: Old Machines

You have to wait for the slot tech to pay you out each time you want to move to another machine. Since I had never been in the tiny casino before, I have a system with the machines where I do about 5 minimum bets to check out their lose-ness then move down the line. This was very annoying for the old guy as he had to run to the cage every few minutes to give me a few bucks; actually, it was annoying for me--sitting there waiting ten minutes or so. Maybe they changed their system by now as it was a while back. I was driving up to Beatty from Death Valley and decided I needed to check out casinos on the way there. I only went in with 10-20 bucks as I didn't want to stay long. This particular casino grabbed my attention because of the pretty setting. It was rather scenic with nice views all around. Although annoying, I would come back to stay in the hotel. None of the other hotels from Death Valley to and including Beatty have good reviews. This looks like a good stop for the night after a relaxing soak at Tecopa and before your next adventure. The menu actually looks pretty decent. I choose this place for a pit stop on your casino-hot springs tour.
