  • Rising Star Casino Resort: personal review

Played many casinos foreign and domestic over the decades. Grand Victoria now Rising Sun is the best casino to play. I drive 357 miles to enjoy this casino. Win or lose the trip is worth the drive. All the staff are friendly. Comps are above average. Rooms are above average. Buffet is better than most with a wide variety. I usually play Mississippi Stud $5 ante and penny slots to kill time while not playing stud. Not a place for glitz & glitter -- just good basic decor. Stick to basic table games -- other games such as switch blackjack are for fun not for winning $$$.
