  • Twin River Casino: Never Returning

For at least a full year, my boyfriend and I went to Twin River every single week. I did so-so, my boyfriend did a little better. During this time we got little to no free play, which was not very good marketing strategy in my opinion, especially for people like us who were going weekly. Nevertheless, we went because we enjoy it. March 2012 was the last time we went. We started going to Newport Grand and I was hitting 80% more than at TR. And we also are receiving lots of free play. We recently got $10.00 of free play at TR and decided to go hoping the slots would be a little looser. Saturday night we went and let me tell you, we could not have done worse. Very few bonus rounds and the ones I did get into paid peanuts. I got into Madame X and got 10 free spins and won a whole 80 cents. Are you kidding me? That is just wrong. I played a full $10.00 on Jungle Wild and not one spin gave me a win. NOTHING. We both threw our players cards in the trash and vowed never to go back.We left TR and went to NG and did much better. As a Massachusetts resident we only have TR, NG, Foxwoods and Mohegan to go to that is nearby. But soon we will have our own casinos and I predict you will lose many, many patrons...you better loosen up those slots. Even if you get gaming tables, you're going to lose a lot of money to Massachusetts if you don't loosen up a little. Twin River will not see me again, I don't care how much free play they send me. I'm done!
