    Fiesta Henderson Casino Hotel: Pluses and minuses

    This casino opened its doors as the Reserve in 1998 and shortly thereafter I started playing there because of the large inventory of full pay machines. Room rates in those days were low, the buffet was great and their comp policies were liberal. Station Casinos acquired the property in 2001 and subsequently expanded the casino floor, added a movie complex and food court plus a self parking garage. On the negative side, room rates were increased, a resort fee added, the buffet deteriorated and comp policies became more conservative.
