This is not a top of the range hotel by any means but we found our room clean and comfortable. We requested a hairdryer and an extra chair which were provided promptly. We were in the South Tower and had a good view of the strip in the distance. There are 6 elevators servicing the South Tower and we never waited more than 30 seconds for one.The pool area was nice and quiet (in September) and there are tennis courts and a small gym which are free to hotel guests.
There is a McDonald's and a Subway on the ground floor along with the $7.77 buffet (not very many choices but what do you expect for the price!) and a Sports Bar on the 1st floor. There is also a Bingo parlour.
We found the cocktail waitress service in the casino good and the stage within the casino had a group playing on it at the weekends which gave the casino a good atmosphere.
We enjoyed staying Downtown for a change and we are going back to the Plaza for another 2 weeks in May this year.
