Just returned from 5 days in LV. Great trip other than the long boring plane ride from Florida. It was quite unnerving ti walk into some of these 100,000+ sq. ft. casinos during the day and only find 2 BJ tables open. Come Friday night, they were all packed with people cashing paychecks
and then gambling. Check out the Desert Rose if you are looking for a great place to stay. This is a Condo (timeshare, don't worry they must be sold out because no one ever offered to sell us a week or two). The benefit of staying at the Desert Rose was that for the price of a hotel room on the strip you get a pretty new apartment with living room, separate bedroom, bath & outfitted kitchen as well as breakfast from 6-9 each morning. The Desert Rose is just off the Strip, close to Hooters.
