  • The Orleans in Las Vegas to Host Many Events During WNFR, December 3-12, 2015

LAS VEGAS Boyd Gaming, a major sponsor of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) for the last 30 years, will present two of its best-known after-party events, the National Finals Tonight® Show and Gary Leffew’s Legendary Buck’N Ball, at The Orleans Hotel and Casino for the first time ever this December.

In addition, Boyd Gaming will be making Las Vegas Rodeo Week bigger and better than ever with the premiere of the Boyd Gaming Chute-Out, "A New Way to Rodeo.” This three-day afternoon rodeo event, held Dec. 10-12 at the Orleans Arena, complements Boyd Gaming's packed schedule of post-rodeo events, concerts and parties at properties across the Las Vegas Valley.

National Finals Tonight® Show at The Orleans
For the first time, the award-winning National Finals Tonight® Show will take place at 10:30 p.m. at The Orleans Hotel and Casino. Broadcast live from the Orleans Showroom, the show will feature rodeo highlights, interviews and question and answer sessions with the world’s leading cowboys and cowgirls. Admission is free and prizes – including an autographed guitar signed by various country artists – will be given away nightly. The wrap-up of each day’s WNFR events will be hosted by eight-time World Champion and Hall of Fame Cowboy Don Gay; World Champion Tie-Down Roper and all-around cowboy Joe Beaver; and TV host Dan Miller. There will be special appearances by legendary WNFR rodeo announcers Bob Tallman and Boyd Polhamus and many others. In addition, the winners of the Boyd Gaming Chute-Out will receive their buckles nightly at the National Finals Tonight show.

Gary Leffew’s Legendary Buck’N Ball at The Orleans
Also moving to The Orleans Hotel and Casino is Las Vegas’ best rodeo party after dark, Gary Leffew’s Legendary Buck’N Ball. The party begins at 9 p.m. Dec. 3-12, and offers live country music, two-step dancing and drink specials. Guests must be 21 years or older and there is no cover charge.

Boyd Gaming Chute-Out at Orleans Arena
The inaugural Boyd Gaming Chute-Out will welcome some of the most recognizable faces in rodeo for an action-packed three-day event, Dec. 10-12, from 2 to 4 p.m. each day at the Orleans Arena. A total of 64 top ranked cowboys and cowgirls, including past, present and future world champions, will compete in a series of events, including Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing and Bull Riding.

As part of its commitment to creating “A New Way to Rodeo,” Boyd Gaming is developing an interactive event that will engage and entertain fans with top-quality rodeo action. The Chute-Out event format is new and tailored to add a bit more Las Vegas-style entertainment, while maintaining the long rich history and rodeo tradition. The Chute-Out provides unbeatable action at a family friendly price. Tickets start at $20, and are now on sale at BoydChuteOut.com.

Bob Tallman Celebrity Bowling Tournament at the Gold Coast
Bowling, celebrities, food and fun will once again be part of the 8th Annual Bob Tallman Celebrity Bowling Tournament on Dec. 5, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Gold Coast Bowling Center. The tournament will benefit the Las Vegas chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, and the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. Festivities will include a silent auction, celebrity bowling team members and an awards ceremony.

Roxy’s Buckin’ Bull Honky Tonk at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall
Attendees have the opportunity to unleash their inner cowboy and cowgirl at the Fifth Annual Buckin’ Bull Mechanical Bull Riding competition at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, Dec. 4-12. Professional rodeo announcer Jody Carper will lend his voice during the action. Participants only need to bring along their courage and bull ridin’ skills, as there is no fee to participate.
