I think the prices are on the high side plus I was not thrilled with our meal. My wife and I shared a rack of baby back ribs that came with 2 sides plus we added a 3rd. The dry rubbed ribs arrived sliced with BBQ sauce on them. All 3 sides were below average. If you use the link I included above, you can review the menu with prices. I rated our meal 2 Forks out of a possible 5.

Also in Henderson is Big B's Texas BBQ which I thought was much better. My wife and I each ordered a 1/2 rack of dry rubbed baby back ribs which were served without sauce though bottles of different styles of sauce are available. Again, I was not impressed by the sides. There is a review in my "Restaurant Reviews 3/17" post which includes links to both the menu and coupons valid through 4/17. Note the coupons have been updated on a monthly basis since the restaurant opened. I assigned a rating of 4 Forks to our meal.

On our next trip we are going to try Sin City Smokers, also in Henderson, which has a Friday night special $15.99 for a whole rack of baby backs for $15.99 though I do not think sides are included. The Yelp reviews have been very good.

Rollin' Smoke also receives excellent reviews - see my "Restaurant Reviews 3/17" post.

The most frugal option is to use the 2 for 1 coupon included in the American Casino Guide at Ellis Island Casino's BBQ restaurant. These ribs are not smoked, but rather steamed prior to grilling. The ribs arrive at the table covered with sauce along with sides of Texas toast, beans, coleslaw and corn on the cob. A 1/2 rack is $10.99 with players club card.

I would kill for a nice piece of ribs in BBQ sauce with some sweetcorn, coleslaw salad, fries and some more BBQ sauce on the side. Every time when I'm in restaurant and there is an a option to get ribs always getting them. I can see lovely risotto with asparagus. I just love food, I'm chef so that why I love forums, topics about food. I just wonder how the chicken marsala taste like.

As you can see from the photo, the chef drenched both the chicken and the accompanying pasta in marsala sauce. My wife found it to be way too much of a good thing. The asparagus risotto was outstanding, probably the best risotto I have had in any restaurant.

Ellis Island does not smoke its ribs, but rather steams them prior to finishing on a barbecue grill. I personally like mine dry rubbed prior to smoking like you can find in a number of BBQ joints in Las Vegas including Rollin' Smoke, Big B's Texas BBQ. Next stop for us will be Sin City Smokers Barbecue.
