    Las Vegas (May 22, 2017) — Memorial Day Weekend turns up the heat on the Strip with parties and events marking the “unofficial start of the summer.” To celebrate the holiday weekend, Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas resorts will host events featuring live entertainment, beverage specials and military discounts. Memorial Day Weekend offerings include:

    Pool Parties/Events
    GRAMMY Award-winning rapper Coolio kicks off Memorial Day Weekend with a live performance at the GO Pool at Flamingo Las Vegas on Friday, May 26. The party continues with DJ's Koko and Bayati on Saturday, May 27. Resident DJ Eric Forbes will get things started at 12 p.m. and drink specials include $5 off Coors Light buckets. Don’t miss DJ Vegas Vibe and DJ Tavo spinning on Sunday, May 28 and Monday, May 29 respectively.

    The Memorial Day Weekend party at The POOL at The LINQ Hotel & Casino gets started on Saturday, May 27 with Tropical Saturday. This summer-long series welcomes guests to party like they are at the beach with inflatables, tropical drinks, and entertainment by DJ MikeAttack. On Sunday, May 28, partygoers can cheers to Champagne Sunday with entertainment from DJ Josh Bliss and buy any bottle and get one bottle of Veuve Clicquot free. Guests can also pre-game with the afternoon-into-early-evening MTN DEW® KICKSTART™ Poolside Pre-Game, kicking-off the seven-weekend summer pool party series on Sunday, May 28. Each party will feature live music, guest appearances and unique poolside services and beverages to kick start the night. Pool-goers can sample KICKSTART energy drink flavors and get special bonuses, upgrades and perks by interacting on social media.

    Party poolside on the roof at Drai’s Beachclub at The Cromwell with Louis the Child on Friday, May 26, G-Eazy with Adventure Club on Saturday, May 27, and Destructo Sunday, May 28. Each night, Drai’s Nightclub will also feature star entertainers with Future on Friday, May 26, Lil Wayne Saturday, May 27 and Wiz Khalifa Sunday, May 28.

    Bally’s Las Vegas’ lush pool escape, Blu Pool hosts the Blu Pool Party with DJ Jack Stylez of ULTRA DJs on Saturday, May, 27. The party continues on Sunday, May 28 with the cast of Crazy Girls from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Guests can take pictures with the cast while enjoying entertainment by DJ Jeff Tune-K of ULTRA DJs.

    Not only is Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino home to the Strip’s only stand-alone wave machine, the FlowRider, but the pools are the place to be for Memorial Day Weekend. The 2017 Ms. Pleasure Bikini Contest kicks-off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 27. Guests can strut their stuff for a chance to win more than $2,500 in cash and prizes. Celebrity judges include members from the cast of Crazy Girls. Partygoers can enjoy entertainment by ULTRA DJs Superstar Roger Gangi and Shai Peri with special guest appearances from Las Vegas` Premier Violinist and Entertainer Lydia Ansel and musician Rocco Barbato. Bikini contests will take place at 3 p.m. every Saturday for the rest of summer. On Sunday, May 28, the world-famous Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino headliners, Chippendales® will turn up the heat at the Planet Hollywood Pools. Guests can get their picture taken and receive an autograph from these Las Vegas premier entertainers.

    Caesars Palace invites guests to party like royalty on Memorial Day Weekend. “Party Patrol” will be in full effect on the pool deck making sure all guests are celebrating and having fun at the Garden of the Gods Pool. The pool will offer music, cornhole and a great party scene for those 21 and older. The pool as well as Spanish Steps will feature red, white and blue drink specials. The best place for pre and post party, Alto Bar will offer drink specials and a live DJ on Thursday, May 25 through Sunday, May 28.

    Harrah’s Las Vegas is breaking out its peg legs and eye patches as the popular-center Strip resort goes pirate themed for the holiday weekend. From food and drink offers, to parties at Carnaval Court and the Harrah’s pool, guests will be shouting, “shiver me timbers!” and more.

    Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will offer a special Memorial Day brunch and dinner menu on Saturday and Sunday with decadent dishes from various nations. Brunch will feature Middle Eastern tandoori chicken kabobs, Mexican pork tacos, and breakfast favorites from across the world. Dinner will also have something for everyone with Char Siu pork steamed buns, fusilli with mushroom ragout, and slow roasted prime rib. Pricing is $35.99 for brunch and $35.99 for dinner.

    Le Village Buffet at Paris Las Vegas will offer a special Memorial Day brunch and dinner menu on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can enjoy a variety of brunch items including white wine steamed mussels or a Mascarpone scramble with chives. Dinner offers specialties like leg of lamb and roasted duck along with sweet or savory crepes served all day long. Pricing is $35.99 for brunch and $35.99 for dinner.

    Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace will offer a specialty Memorial Day Weekend menu from Friday through Monday. The holiday menu will feature an experience of BBQ around the world, centering on American favorites. Some items will include Kalbi ribs, St. Louis ribs, beef brisket, and Applewood smoked pork belly. Festive desserts and sides reminiscent of a picnic will also be served throughout the weekend. Pricing is $59.99 for brunch and $69.99 for dinner Friday through Monday.

    Military Discounts
    In honor of Memorial Day, Caesars Entertainment is offering an additional 15% hotel discount for veterans and active duty military who book on Caesars.com from Friday, May 26 through Monday, May 29.     The High Roller Observation Wheel will thank U.S. Military members for their service by offering free standard tickets to ride on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29. The High Roller asks that all military members show a valid, active, or retired ID USA Military I.D. to claim their ticket. Kids 12 and under always ride free on the High Roller making it the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or plan a family outing. The High Roller Observation Wheel will also be lit red, white and blue in honor of the Memorial Day holiday.

    Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah’s Las Vegas offers a complimentary burger, French fries and domestic beer to active military members with valid ID year-round.
