  • March madness promotions in las vegas’at mgm resorts restaurants and sports bars

Las Vegas – This year, forget the stands and head to Vegas for the ultimate March Madness viewing party. As college basketball dominates the airwaves and thousands of fans cheer on their favorite teams, pull up a seat at one of these MGM Resorts venues and let incredible sports grub and drink specials help you forget those bracket-busting wildcard wins from the start of the tournament all the way through The Final Four.

    ARIA Resort & Casino

SKYBOX Sports Bar and Grill – Adjacent to the Sports Book at ARIA Resort & Casino, SKYBOX gets “nothing but net” with its March Madness menu and 23 high-definition screens. March 17 – 20 SKYBOX will serve breakfast from 9 a.m. - noon to accommodate early-rising fans. In the afternoon and evening patrons can enjoy game day favorites like Big Game Wings, Pull Pork Sliders and the acclaimed Firecracker Burger which features the Bhut Jolokia chili pepper, rated one of the world’s hottest chili peppers. Wash it all down with one of 12 beers on tap. Or, take advantage of SKYBOX To Go and enjoy your grub within ARIA’s state-of-the-art, 10,000-square-foot Race & Sports Book with 90 high-definition TVs.

    Vdara Hotel & Spa

Bar Vdara – For a smoke-free environment and an abundance of delicious cocktails, Bar Vdara is the perfect game-day destination. With multiple TVs to watch the tournament and signature sips such as The Black Dragon, featuring Bacardi Dragon Berry rum, blackberries, fresh mint, lime juice and pure cane syrup, it’s the ideal spot for fans seeking a more low-key viewing experience.

    MGM Grand

    · MGM Grand Race and Sports Book – Overlooking the lower level of MGM Grand’s sports book are four private Skyboxes. A first in the industry, these private enclosures are equipped for up to 10 guests and come complete with plasma TVs, surround-sound and a CD system. Grab a sandwich from Stage Deli next door and nosh on Pastrami and Corned Beef delivered directly from the East Coast as you watch the game.

    Mandalay Bay

    · Border Grill – Watch and cheer on your favorite team with gourmet Mexican cuisine and drink specials at Mandalay Bay’s Border Grill. Start the party with $5 margaritas and $3 beers as you savor delicious classics like Queso Fundido and Carne Asada Quesadillas.

    The Mirage

The Mirage Race & Sports Book – With more than 10,000 square feet of big-screen action, The Mirage invites guests to sit back in style and comfort as the brilliant expanse of projection screens transports them to the center of the basketball action. Straight from Seventh Avenue in Midtown New York City, Carnegie Deli offers to-go options for hungry fans, including the famous Gargantuan Combos, such as The Beef Encounter: triple-decker roast beef, chopped liver and sliced onion.

    Monte Carlo

The Pub at Monte Carlo – The Pub at Monte Carlo scores a rare four-point-play with more than 30 TVs, its own version of the Jumbotron, seriously good pub grub, and hundreds of drinks to choose from. An extensive selection of 89 distinctive beers on tap and 121 bottled beers includes an international variety of ales, lagers and stouts. If beer’s not your ideal game-day fuel, tip off with a Grown-Up Milkshake; then indulge in a mouthwatering burger, like The Hangover Cure: The Pub Burger (featuring their secret sauce) topped with a fried egg.

    New York-New York

The Sporting House Bar & Grill – The Screening Room at this New York-New York venue will broadcast games on two 16-foot, high-definition screens, a dozen 36-inch, high-definition video monitors and individual monitors at every table. Bring your friends on extended hours for game days and order Fried Zucchini Sticks or a Portobello Philly with onions, peppers and smoked Gouda on a hoagie while cheering on your top teams to victory! Don’t worry about missing a second of the action – additional TVs are in both the men’s and ladies’ restrooms. Post-game, visit the All-Star Arcade where more than 10,000 square feet of interactive and competitive sports-themed attractions await.

    Luxor

Backstage Deli – For courtside favorites, Backstage Deli is serving up a Large Soft Pretzel with cheese sauce for $2; and BBQ Chicken Sliders(3) with cheddar cheese, sautéed onions and kettle chips for $8.99. After you’ve ordered, head next door to Luxor’s smoke-free Race & Sports Book to scream for your favorite team!

    · Luxor Drink Specials – Throughout the property, Luxor will accommodate thirsty fans by offering discount beer buckets and specially priced specialty vodka drinks on game days.

Pyramid Café – Pyramid Café at Luxor will go for the half-court shot with Filet and Eggs with hash browns and toast; and a Monster Appetizer Platter featuring Breaded Ravioli with marinara sauce, Buffalo Shrimp, BBQ Wings and Onion Rings with salsa-ranch dressing. Both are available for $13.99 throughout March Madness.

TENDER Steak & Seafood – TENDER is offering delicious food specials in its lounge, including Oyster Shooters with Skyy vodka for $3, a Kobe Meatloaf Slider with truffled onion for $4 and Short-Rib Ravioli with plum-tomato horseradish marinara for $8 – a real slam dunk.

    Excalibur

    · Excalibur Drink Specials – Excalibur will offer its own game – Beer Pong – in the Race & Sports Book, as well as $20 pitchers during the basketball games. Property lounges such as Octane, The Lounge and Jester join the madness with $25 Domestic Beer Buckets and $5 Skyy Vodka cocktail specials. All have TVs to view the action, including drop-down screens at Octane and The Lounge.

MGM Resorts’ Race & Sports Books

Throughout Las Vegas, some of the best spots to catch the NCAA madness are MGM Resorts’ race and sports books, with tons of TVs and comfortable seating. ARIA Resort & Casino, Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Luxor, Excalibur and Circus Circus each have books that will transport you to the center of the action – but make sure to show up early, as seating will be in high demand.
