  • Seminoles are listening

If you are a regular reader of this site you know how I go on & on about the lack of comps from the Seminoles in Florida. Well they must be reading these posts. All of a sudden I am getting all sorts of offers in the mail: match play, food discounts, etc. I guess this is one time it paid to complain.

Are you referring to the Hard Rock in Hollywood?

They seem to send the same offer all the time -$20 in free play when you earn 50 points, plus a $5 free food coupon. The free play offer is valid once per week and the food offer is valid once per month.

Is that what you are getting?

I am in Florida. The past Friday in the paper, we had a $25 free play coupon stuck to the front, good for existing members. That is a bit of a rarity; I have usually see no more than $5.

The paramutuals on the other hand (horse tracks, etc) routinely give $20 free play in the paper (normally about once a month).

I live in Southwest Florida. Nothing in our local paper for free play. Guess I need to move.

Sorry I missed your post until now Steve. I am referring to Casino Immokalee. Getting food comps and match plays weekly for the entire month of May & June.

I also live in South Florida and I get the Sun-Sentinel newspaper. What newspaper had that free play offer?

The Hard Rock $25 free play was a sticker on the front of the Sun-Sentinel (Broward County). The Calder $20 was in the Miami Herald only that week (but is sometimes in the Sun Sentinel as well).

I'll post in the morning next time I see it so you can get a head start

Here is a link to the Sun-Sentinel gambling blog as well (they often mention these in advance)
