  • Day 3 of a 4 day trip

So we are up early and off to the buffet provided by the tour operator. After breakfast I have time for about another two hours of BJ here at the Isle. At 10:15 am we board the bus and head for the Beau Rivage. Designed by Steve Wynn, this is without a doubt the most beautiful and biggest of the Biloxi Casinos. As we approach the landscaping is incredible. Even Queen E. would be impressed. We enter at the bus terminal, receive our players cards with $15 freeplay and tale the escalator to the Casino level. First we have to walk through the hallway of shops. Lots of nice stores. Everything from a $10 store (all items are $10) to a gourmet coffee shop, to high end fashions and jewelry. Then we open onto a dramatic atrium decorated in the most beautiful manner. Beyond that is the casino. It's very big. Up front are BJ tables. These all have continuous shufflers, not my favorite way to play. I continue on to the back of the casino. Here is another group of BJ tables, but with 6 deck shoes. Different rules here, dealer hits soft 17 but surrender is allowed. Not a bad game for me. I sit down, buy in, present my card and here comes my favorite Pit Boss, Mr. XXX. He says let me know when you want to eat! Wow I just got comped and haven't made a bet. You gotta love this place.
After close to 3 hours my wife shows up and we are off to the buffet with 2 comped buffets on my player's card. The Beau has a first rate buffet and we gorge ourselves. After lunch its back to the BJ tables and thanking the Boss for a great lunch. At 3:15 the bus leaves to take us back to the Isle. Another 3 hours of BJ, a light meal and its time for bed. This is our last night and torn between sleeping and getting in some more play time. Knowing that it is dangerous for me to play when tired I opt for sleep. I ran into a guy once at a casino playing head on with a dealer. I asked if he minded if I join the tabl. He responded that he started out with $15,000 some 19 hours ago. He had $1,100 left and wanted to finish up alone. I did as he said but wondered if he was suicidal or thought things were going to start going his way.
