  • Robosaurus at Seminole Casino in Hollywood, Florida

For our upcoming monthly video podcast we did something very different.

The Seminole Casino in Hollywood, Florida, which is only about one mile away from my house, was having a cash giiveaway promotion that involved Robosuarus.

If you aren't familiar with Robosaurus, it's a 45-foot-tall dinosaur-like robot that crushes cars, boats, airplanes, or anything else that it picks up with its claws.

My son Matt and I videotaped the show at the casino and uploaded it to youtube. In addition, the day before the performance Matt actually got into the cockpit and sat behind the operator to record how it was all done.

We promise that next month we will go back to showing a regular video about casino gambling, but we had an awful lot of fun doing this video and we hope you enjoy it.

By the way, if you do like the video, please be sure to tell your friends about it. Thanks!

Enjoyed watching Robosaurus. Used to live on the other side of town (just off Oakland Park Blvd and the expressway) and didn't get over there often. Imagine it has changed dramatically since.

Thanks for going to the trouble of filming and putting it together.

Nice video Steve; very interesting to see the cockpit! I saw the Robosaurus when it was at an event for Universal Studios in 2006. Looks like you and your son had fun!

Robosaurus was featured as an item the guys were gonna buy on Vegas' own PAWN STARS within the last month. Great work mechanically and on the hydraulics on
that huge thing. THEY DID CRUSH A CAR ON THE TV SHOW.
