  • Gambling age in Minnesota casinos?

I heard they changed the age of gambling in Minnesota from 18 to 21 is this true? I've also heard it was a federal law is that true?

I've waited all my life and wasted roughly 600+ hours according to my free counter of hours spent.

I don't believe there is a federal law requiring gamblers to be 18 in Indian casinos.

At the Seminole Hard Rock Casino here in south Florida, the minimum gambling age is 18.

I'm sure if you call the casinos they will tell you how old you have to be to gamble.

Just do a search on the americancasinoguide.com web site on Minnesota and it will bring up a list of all casinos.

Find the casino you want and click on 'more information' to see the toll-free phone number.

ERICK WROTE:I heard they changed the age of gambling in Minnesota from 18 to 21

NOT BAD REASONING SINCE AN UNDER 18 PERSON CAN'T ENTER INTO A LEGAL CONTRACT, SO IT SEEMS LOGICAL TO PROTECT A MINOR FROM LOSING HIS MONEY WORKING AT SOME BEGINNER JOB. BUT, IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CASINO GAMBLE AT 18, GO AHEAD.

ERICK WROTE-I've waited all my life and wasted roughly 600+ hours according to my free counter of hours spent.

AND WHEN YOU TURN 30,40, 50--YOU'LL WONDER WHERE THAT TIME WENT TOO. WHAT I'D LIKE ERICK TO POST IS..

WHAT IS 600 HOURS ON HIS FREE COUNTER ???

Some are 21, some are 18 here in San Diego.

In California indian Casinos what decides whether its 18 or 21 is whether the casino wants to be able to serve booze on the gambling floor. At the chumash no booze just soda, so its open season for the 18 year olds (which they just love because everything else in southern ca. you have to be 21)
