Thanks for these great coupons!
Thanks for these great coupons!
I see that Ellis Island changed their offer/coupon we have ate there for 10 years sometimes twice in 1 week (we buy two books for our single yearly trip) eating once in the restaurant and once in the Bar-B-Q. 1 free meal for 200 points seems like a lot to me to earn as I play video poker. Anyone know how much coin in is required to earn 200 points? I always play there while we wait the long wait for the restaurant seems like this isn't a good business decision because a lot of people waiting for the restaurant and playing while they wait. If I don't go there with a coupon or a good deal on a meal I won't play or eat. I can use points to eat for free in great buffets at other casinos but always loved the Prime Rib and Bar-B -Q ribs there. What a shame.
Personally, I think the new coupon is better because you are getting your meal for free. There is an element of risk, but when I go to a casino I don't mind gambling if they offer decent video poker and Ellis Island has 9/6 jacks or better for quarters which is what I like to play.
According to vpfree2.com $1 coin in is equal to one point. Therefore, you would need to run $200 through a video poker machine to earn your free meal.
The theoretical loss on 9/6 jacks is about 1/2 of one percent, which would equal about $1 on $200 worth of play. The players club gives a rebate at .01% so that would bring your expected loss down to about 80 cents. If you have one of their great beers while you are playing then that would make it better than a break-even deal for the player! At least to my way of thinking.
Again, I don't mind the risk because I like to play 9/6 Jacks, but maybe you don't like to gamble that much?
Hey Now!
To me, this offer is great. I always play the QQs there while I'm waiting for a table anyhow. Sounds like a win-win!
doesn't bother me gambling that much, but I usually gamble my bankroll at the casino that provides me my free rooms, to risk my free room for a free meal even tho the risk is a minor risk is not for this one week a year visitor, plus as I said above at times we make two trips there during our week visit as we buy two books BOGOs get the hubby and I each a meal - twice.
200 points for 1 free meal means the hubby runs $200 through and I run $200 through for 1 free meal each one trip. $400 through for a free meal for us both to me the BOGO coupon is a better deal. Thanks for the response on the coin in made my decision clear.
Hi all,
I bought the 2014 guide a week or so ago and I'm awaiting for it to arrive in the mail. I live in Canada so I probably wont have the guide in my hands until sometime next week. I would however like to use as soon as possible the "buy two nights get a third free" coupon for the Vegas Boyd properties. When I called Main Street Station to book a room, I was told that they need the coupon code in order to make the reservation.
Could somebody please let me know what the coupon code is for this coupon?
Thanks!!
Chad
The code is ACG14M. You will, however, need to bring the coupon with you when you arrive for your stay at Main Street Station.
Did you get an email stating the shipping date. It was about week after the purchase for me.
I just got the 2014 ACG book for our upcoming trip, I would not go to vegas without it. The new coupons are good, the book keeps getting better. No matter what you do when you're in vegas, this book will save or even make you money. I think I bought my first one back in the 1990s and never stopped.
