On March 25 about 6:00 PM I went to Fitz's reward center to sign up for a rewards card and to request 2 tickets for the show mentioned on the coupon. The hostess at the center told me I would have to come back in the morning at 9:00AM to see if any tickets were available. In the future I will always call ahead, but it would be nice if these conditions could be stated on the coupon. The other issue is that hostess seemed pleased that I had wasted my time coming down to the Casino so she could personally tell me that I would not be able to go to the show. I obliviously did not sign up for the rewards program and will never set foot in Fitz's again. It is amazing what good customer service can do undo whatever good will the Casino creates by providing these coupons.

Re: Problem with Fitz coupon for show
Now that you're griping about the Fitz, here's my 2 cents worth. My wife & I stayed there on the evenings of March 16th & 17th. We too had a coupon for the country superstars show. On Tuesday morning (March 17) we got in line before 9AM at the player's club booth (not even open yet.) Finally about 9:10 someone came and started manning the booth. At this point there were no less than 20 people in line. Another person came behind the counter a few minutes later, shuffled some papers, and LEFT while the line was getting even longer! Twenty minutes later we reached the counter and got the last 2 show tickets. At that point the club representative told the crowd that there were no more tickets left. Boos and shouts of "unfair" etc. were heard. I thought I even heard a cry of "Hang 'em High!" To add insult to injury for the ticketless the showroom was only 2/3 full at showtime! The show was good and well done by the energetic performers.
Another glitch that week at the Fitz was the elevator system. One of the 4 was permantely down for repair with sporadic service from the others. Big waits to go up were common with throngs of people trying to get to their floors. We had a high floor and waits of 10 minutes for a car to stop on our floor were not unusual (really.) Throw in tight machines and the St. Patrick's day crowd and you can see how we had a hectic time. We too will probably not stay there again. Well maybe, depends upon the comp room and free play situation. I guess I'm a wimp afterall.
