I have not been to Hooters for this promotion, but I believe that you can only win cash.

They offer $100 in freeplay to anyone who first joins the club, but they will increase it to $200 if you have the American Casino Guide coupon.

Since we all know how casinos work (they are in business to make money) I am sure that it is hard to walk away with winnnings because if it was easy then they would probably go broke.

I think you should plan on killing some time there and playing the slots for fun, but realize that it might be difficult to leave with cash.

The free play is very similar to that of Casino Royales. You pretty much need to hit a major jackpot to cash anything. You can accumalate enough points to cash out by hitting several smaller jackpots, but I'd guess close to 99% win nothing.

That's correct. The offer is for new members only.

You might want to try the Hard Rock offer for $10 in free slot play, double slot club points, plus a $10 match play.

All of those are valid for current members as well as new members. They are limited, however, to once per calendar year.

I've also heard that these promotional slots are REAL tight, though I may check it out on my next trip.
I guess guys who want to ogle the Hooters girls while they play it off will enjoy the experience, but that's not my bag.

Was there last week. The Promotional slots are $5 slots. You have to have 1500 credits to win $50. They actually gave me the full $300 to play but that is only 60 credits.

I spoke with the people at the Owl Rewards Club, and the only incentives they offer any more is $100 in free slot play which is doubled with the ACG coupon. They no give free show tickets or matchplay offers for new members.

Personally, if I can burn some time playing with house money and get some free libations in the process, I don't care how tight the machines are. Besides, as mentioned earlier, Hooters Girls! The best in the country I'd imagine...

I did this promo last year and it's virtually impossible to win anything. However, it did include a $25 MP and free tickets to Bobbie Slayton, so it was worth a trip.

Disagree about the Hooter Girls being an elite unit. They pale in comparison to tons of cocktail waitresses at Strip, Off-Strip and Downtown casinos.

My wife and I used the coupon on our trip to Vegas last week.

The slot machines are in a special roped-off area. They are actual $5 machines and, normally, the attendant will put a $100 bill into the machine to give you 20 credits on the machine. With the ACG coupon, however, they will put $200 into the machine and you have 40 credits.

You can only cash out in three instances. If you hit the top jackpot they will give you $1,000 and if you hit the next highest jackpot, they will give you $100. The only other way to win money is if you can run your total credits up to 1,700. Then, they will give you $50.

We lost our credits rather quickly, as did most people, but we did see one guy who had 500 credits and was playing for awhile.

They also give you a coupon book which wasn't too bad. It had a $20 matchplay for even money bets. We played ours on roulette with one win and one loss for a $20 profit.

There was a coupon for a free $3 pull on a regular $1 Hooters slot machine. The slot coupon is only good on Thursday afternoons (4pm to 7pm?), but we happened to be there at the right tme and we got to play it. Unfortunately, we both lost!

The only other betting coupon was a free $1 big six wheel bet, it wasn't open when we were there.

There were other food (Krispy Kreme donuts!!!), drink and souvenir coupons, plus an offer for a free show ticket with the purchase of one drink.

So, the bottom line is that you probably won't win anything with the free slot play, but you can have some fun and probably come out way ahead by using the other coupons.

This promotion is for new Owl Club Card Members. You are given $200 to play in a reserved slot area in the casino. This area is "roped off" from the main casino floor. Payouts on Payline are as follows: 2 triple Stars and 1 Blue 7 with Star pays $100, 3 Triple Stars you win $1000. Additional credits can be earned according to listed wins; however you can only "cash out" with the above wins. Play ends when you either win or are out of credits. I know this first hand, because I won $1000 in September of 2008. The only drawback is you are given a 1099 Form for income tax, which you MUST claim as earnings. The casino lists the winnings as; Wages, Tips, or Other Compensation. This is different from the $1199 limit to slot machine winnings which are non-taxable (no 1099 issued). I didn't like the tax part, but I did enjoy the winnings!!
